When you click certain outbound links — routed through our /go/ redirects and marked with rel="sponsored" — and then purchase or subscribe, the vendor may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same either way. This is how the site is funded instead of ads or sponsored rankings.
Commissions do not determine which tools appear, the order they appear in, or the "best for" verdicts on any page. Several tools we recommend have no affiliate program at all, and where a top pick pays us nothing we recommend it anyway. Our methodology describes the selection process; commercial pages carry a disclosure line near the top, before the first affiliate link.
Affiliate relationships change as programs approve or end. Not every outbound link on this site is an affiliate link — some vendors listed here have no relationship with us. We do not accept payment for editorial placement, and any future sponsored placement will be visibly labeled "Sponsored" and kept out of editorial rankings.
