Commercial recommendation sites earn trust by showing their work. This page explains how tools get onto TOOLSTACK / YOGA, what our labels mean, how commercial relationships are handled, and how often pages are reviewed.

We start from what yoga teachers and studio owners actually buy and discuss — vendor pricing pages, current buyer guides, review-platform patterns, and community discussion — then filter by three questions: is the tool priced for its stated audience, is the vendor stable enough to trust with a business workflow, and does it do its core job without requiring three other purchases. We deliberately prefer covering fewer tools honestly over padding lists. A tool being popular is not enough; a tool being obscure is not disqualifying.
Every commercial page carries one of these labels near the title. Researched comparison: built from vendor documentation, pricing pages, and multi-source research — we have not necessarily run a paid account. Editorial overview: a broader survey of a category. Product profile: a factual single-tool page. Hands-on review: we genuinely used the product — this label is never applied otherwise. As of July 2026, the yoga section's pages are researched comparisons; when that changes, the label changes.
"Best" is always relative to a person and a budget, which is why our pages are structured around situations ("just starting, low volume" / "steady schedule, hates per-sale fees") rather than a single winner. We do not publish numerical scores or star ratings, because we have no defensible measurement behind such numbers — and no aggregate ratings, because we don't collect reviews.
Pricing and plan details come from vendor pricing pages and are dated ("checked 2026-07") wherever they appear. Prices on this site are approximate and in USD; vendors change them without notice, so every commercial page tells you to confirm current rates before buying. If we can't verify something, we either label it as unverified or leave it out. We do not use merchant marketing copy as review content, and we do not fabricate quotes, ratings, or testing results.
Some outbound links are affiliate links, routed through our /go/ redirects and marked with rel="sponsored". Commissions never determine inclusion, order, or the "best for" verdicts — several tools we recommend pay us nothing. We review business software and equipment for yoga professionals. We do not give medical advice, present yoga as treatment for any condition, or evaluate the safety of physical practices — and we avoid recommending tools that would have us collect health information about anyone. For insurance, tax, or legal questions we point to professionals, not products.
